Welcome to Wildwood

Hello neighbors and friends. We’re so excited to launch the Wildwood Neighborhood Association! This idea was born out of conversations between neighbors, many of whom moved to the area recently. Having all struggled to succinctly describe our exact location in Tulsa, we realized that we lack the neighborhood identity of so many other Tulsa stalwarts: Maple Ridge, the Heights, Lortondale, etc. We wanted to facilitate neighborhood pride, establish a clear moniker to explain who we are, and build relationships with our neighbors. We see each other walking dogs, pushing strollers, and gardening in our yards. The Wildwood Neighborhood Association can be a forum for us to get together, discuss what matters to our neighborhood, improve our property values and feel more deeply rooted in Tulsa.

We’re pleased to announce that the City of Tulsa recently approved Wildwood as an official neighborhood association. This was a simple online application. A few of us created this website and will be passing around fliers directing people to join the Contact List. If you’re new to the area, please be sure to sign up for email updates on our Contact List page.

We want to stress that nothing is set in stone here. We just wanted to get the ball rolling with a website, a specific project (neighborhood signage) and a vehicle to get to know one another. We would love your input into the organizational structure of this association, the goals of our group and the ways in which you want to enjoy each other’s company and proximity . We are here to listen to you and to relay your ideas and concerns to the City of Tulsa.

We hope to host a backyard get together when the weather cools off a bit. Please come say hi anytime! I’m at the NE corner of 23rd and Yorktown. Conor Cleary is in the middle of 25th Place. As we collect name and emails via the contact form, we’ll share more about meeting up. Cheers to a prosperous Wildwood!
